We strive to keep childcare costs down, understanding the need for something other than nursery hours and pricing.

Fees are payable monthly and are sent out to all parents the middle of each month via email.

We accept all methods of payments, Direct debits, cheques, cash, bank transfers, government grants, child tax payments and childcare vouchers.

Funding is given for children to access standard preschool provisions only. As a nursery, we must use it in order to adequately deliver the EYFS curriculum. This includes things such as small world figures, role play, dolls, cars & trucks, trains & track, puzzles, books, loose parts, construction bricks, craft supplies, paper & card, glue, paint, pencils & crayons, scissors, aprons, sand & water, and enough staff to meet minimum government ratios. 

Most Nurseries, reschools and school-based nurseries make a charge called “consumables” or “Top up fee”. This is to cover everything that the funding does not cover.

Here at Merrydale we include all the extra experiences for you and your children within our normal service continuously throughout the year.
